IBBT
IBBT, the Interdisciplinary institute for BroadBand Technology, is a research institute founded by the Flemish government, aimed at Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in general, and the development of broadband applications in particular. IFRA

Media Academie
The Media Academie is the training institute for the broadcasting companies and the audio-visual industry. The aim of the Media Academie is to provide quality training for radio, television (national, regional and international) and new media in the field of both programmes and facilities. In addition, the Media Academie organises courses for the audio-visual industry and provides presentation and media trainings for companies and institutes. The Media Academie designs tailor-made courses and training-projects for national and international companies or organisations.
Metro
Metro is a free newspaper in Belgium, distributed on working days and aiming in particular at 18-44 year old urban, active mobile students and commuters, with a sense of curiosity. Separate Dutch and French-language versions, each with their own content, are available in railway stations, universities and from dedicated newsstands. It is the second largest newspaper of the country with over 800,000 readers. It has a complete online version 'Metrotime' available in .pdf format as well as a slightly simpler layout in ordinary html; the latter also has extra advertising, links, and a small forum. The most recent issues' main articles might be more readily available online then the complete newspaper.
The Concentra
The Concentra Award, now in its third year, aims to promote healthy competition between the various makers of video news. The Award also aims to encourage creators to film and edit their own pieces, so that the entire production process is mastered by the individual. The annual prize is given to a journalist who, in terms of both substance and production, produced an outstanding news item that was broadcast or published on a news site. The winning journalist will also receive a prize of 10000 euros. For the first time, and reflecting the convergence of media, this award for video excellence will be open to journalists from any news organization.
The Rosenblum Institute
Having started VJ training courses in 1988 the Rosenblum Institute team are world leaders in videojournalism and VJ training. Thousands of people have now been trained through the exclusive VJ Bootcamps -intensive group sessions, held at hotels or in classrooms across the country and around the world. Training is done in groups of 12-30 people, lasting from a weekend to three weeks. At the VJ Bootcamps, students are taught to shoot, write, script, edit, produce and direct in video. They are both creative as well as technical, and they are as much about pursuing a creative vision as they are about knowing which button to push.
